Football Recap: Kings Christian Takes a Loss

Kings Christian dropped to 4-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They were outmatched by the Laton Mustangs and fell 48-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Crusaders were not able to get on the board.

Daniel Dinkins threw for 26 yards on five of 17 attempts.

As for Laton, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Andre Zapien produced another solid effort rushing for 98 yards and three touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Looking ahead, Kings Christian will face off against Legacy Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Laton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
