After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Karns City, Redbank Valley was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Johnsonburg Rams as they made off with a 9-3 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Braylon Wagner, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Drew Byers also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Redbank Valley pushed their record up to 5-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Johnsonburg, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Redbank Valley will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Cranberry Area at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Johnsonburg, they will head out to challenge Brookville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
