It was a good run, but Nanih Waiya unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Ethel Tigers by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Warriors have suffered since March 2, 2024.

Adalynn Snow spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on 11 hits.

At the plate, Anna Grace Rigdon was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Nanih Waiya's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 14-10. As for Ethel, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-11.
