Ralston Valley's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Lakewood with a sharp 6-0 victory. Considering Ralston Valley have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Lakewood with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Noah Kapustka (3), Ethan Orchard (2), and Dylan Chambers.

Meanwhile, Valor Christian's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Lakewood by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Valor Christian's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Ralston Valley's win bumped their record up to 10-0-1. As for Valor Christian, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 2-6-3.

Ralston Valley took their victory against Valor Christian in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
