Basketball Recap: Clarksville Christian Snaps 11-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Clarksville Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The match between them and the Bradley Central Bears didn't end well, with the Clarksville Christian Centurions falling 47-30. While losing is never fun, the Centurions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Bears are ranked first).

Several Centurions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Niah Rhodes, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alessia Nesbitt, who posted eight points.

Clarksville Christian's defeat ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-8. As for Bradley Central, they pushed their record up to 22-1 with the victory, which was their 28th straight at home dating back to last season.

Clarksville Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bradley Central, they will challenge Howard Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
