Football Game Preview: Lake County vs. Greenfield

On Friday Lake County will take on Greenfield at 7:00 PM. Lake County have bulldozed their previous five opponents, so Greenfield might have their hands full.

Lake County might be getting used to good results now that the squad has five wins in a row. They made easy work of West Carroll last Friday and carried off a 36-7 win. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Lake County had established a 28-7 advantage.

Meanwhile, Greenfield put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They took the game and then some with a 41-0 victory over Gleason. The rankings were on Greenfield's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.

Lake County took their match against Greenfield the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 39-8 score. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
