Volleyball Recap: Nicholas County Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Nicholas County can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Princeton Tigers on Thursday. The Grizzlies' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-20, 27-25.

Stella Bays paced Nicholas County's offense, picking up ten kills. Bays got some help from Cami Prutsok and her 21 assists. Hannah Thomas controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Nicholas County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-32-1. As for Princeton, with the win, they broke their five-match losing streak and moved their record to 12-15-2.

As of now, neither Nicholas County nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
