Soccer Recap: Three Lakes/Phelps Takes a Loss

After flying high against Crandon on Tuesday, Three Lakes/Phelps came back down to earth. Three Lakes/Phelps lost 8-0 to the Washburn Castle Guards on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Three Lakes/Phelps of the 5-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Three Lakes/Phelps' defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-2. As for Washburn, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Coming up, Three Lakes/Phelps is taking a road trip to challenge Phillips at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Three Lakes/Phelps are facing Phillips at the right time seeing as Phillips are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Washburn will be paying especially close attention to Three Lakes/Phelps' matchup: after Three Lakes/Phelps faces off against Phillips, they'll take on Washburn again at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
