Football Game Recap: Brinkley vs. Palestine-Wheatley

Palestine-Wheatley won the last time they met up with Brinkley, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Palestine-Wheatley made easy work of Brinkley on Friday and carried off a 24-0 win. Palestine-Wheatley were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

The victory bumped Palestine-Wheatley's record up to 3-0. The loss dropped Brinkley's record to 1-2.

Palestine-Wheatley will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Barton in two weeks at 7:00 PM. As for Brinkley, they will face off against Clarendon. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
