Softball Recap: Minor Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Minor can now relate to. They came up short against the Woodlawn Colonels on Wednesday, falling 12-2. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Minor's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Woodlawn, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12.

Minor didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-1 defeat against Pell City on the 7th. As for Woodlawn, they have also already played their next match, a 16-0 loss against Gardendale on the 7th.
