Baseball Recap: Tatnall Takes a Loss

Tatnall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Tower Hill Hillers, falling 15-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hillers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-4 on April 8th.

Trevor Hosler was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI. Billy Combs also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Tatnall's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10-1. As for Tower Hill, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-8.

Looking ahead, Tatnall will host St. Andrew's at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tower Hill, they are taking a road trip to take on Wilmington Friends at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hillers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Quakers have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
