Makayla Sosa posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. She struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off 12 hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
