Recap: Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Tigers vs. Perry County Vikings
The Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Tigers''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their ninth straight loss. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 26-25 to Perry County. Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Perry County apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Braxton Howard, who threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a rushing score.
Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central's loss was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 14.4 points per game. As for Perry County, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6.
Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Perry County also has no future games currently scheduled.
