Baseball Recap: Santa Paula Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rio Mesa, Santa Paula was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Castaic Coyotes, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cardinals as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Santa Paula's record now sits at 12-15. As for Castaic, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 19-9 record.

Looking ahead, Santa Paula will head out to face off against Oxnard at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Castaic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
