Volleyball Recap: High Point Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

High Point Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Lexington Senior Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Monday.

High Point Central came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 23-25, 28-26.

High Point Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Lexington Senior, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. High Point Central is set to face off against their familiar foe T.W. Andrews at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lexington Senior will square off against rival Ledford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
