Volleyball Recap: Cimarron-Memorial Takes a Loss

Cimarron-Memorial's tournament run continued when they took on Service on Saturday. The Spartans fell 2-0 to the Cougars. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tayla Singleton paced Cimarron-Memorial's offense, picking up five kills. Singleton got some help from Kiera Kauhi and her ten assists. Singleton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Cimarron-Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Service, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Cimarron-Memorial has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Spring Valley on the 28th. As for Service, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against South Anchorage on the 23rd.
