Volleyball Recap: Middletown North Takes a Loss

Middletown North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Colts Neck Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on April 4th.

Middletown North's loss dropped their record down to 0-11-1. As for Colts Neck, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Middletown North will head out on the road to face off against Red Bank Catholic at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Colts Neck, they will square off against Liberty at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
