Volleyball Game Preview: Hagerty Huskies vs. Lake Mary Rams

After both having extra time off, the Hagerty Huskies and the Lake Mary Rams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hagerty has four straight victories, Lake Mary has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

If Oviedo wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hagerty, they should've done a better job of containing Seth Davis. The Huskies blew past the Lions 3-0 last Monday for which the team can thank Davis, who had 13 assists and eight digs. He is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 13 or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Hagerty not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Oviedo between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Lake Mary came up short against Lake Howell on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Lake Mary was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 25-10.

Lake Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Hagerty, their win bumped their record up to 13-10.

Everything went Hagerty's way against Lake Mary when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Hagerty made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
