Soccer Recap: Gateway Regional Comes Up Short at Home Against Mount Everett Regional

Gateway Regional unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Mount Everett Regional Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Gateway Regional were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mount Everett Regional apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Coming up, Gateway Regional will venture away from home to face off against Hoosac Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mount Everett Regional, they will challenge Drury at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
