Softball Recap: Maplesville Red Devils vs. Verbena Red Devils
In what's become a running theme this season, Maplesville gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Verbena Red Devils as the Maplesville Red Devils made off with an 18-2 win. Winning may never get old, but Maplesville sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
For Verbena's part, Jaycee Quinn made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Maplesville is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 18 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season. As for Verbena, their loss dropped their record down to 22-10.
