Basketball Game Preview: Amistad Wolves vs. Maloney Spartans

The Amistad Wolves will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Maloney Spartans at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Monday, Amistad didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Brookfield, but they still walked away with a 46-41 win.

Eddie Edwards had a dynamite game for Amistad, putting up 16 points and seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Miguel Chaparro, who posted 13 points along with seven steals and five boards.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Maloney beat Simsbury 67-63 last Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Maloney's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Amistad, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-0.
