Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask MacArthur). They were the clear victor by a 73-52 margin over the Southside Cardinals on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Brahmas as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Josh Neira went supernova for MacArthur, going 6 of 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 26 points in addition to seven boards and six assists. The dominant performance gave Neira a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Savastain Espinoza-Carson, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 15 rebounds.

MacArthur's win bumped their record up to 7-20. As for Southside, their loss was their 12th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-20.

MacArthur didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 64-42 defeat against South San Antonio on the 31st. Southside has also already played their next contest, a 70-46 loss against Harlandale on the 31st.
