Tri-County North won the last time they faced Mississinawa Valley and things went their way on Monday too. The Panthers walked away with a 5-2 win over the Blackhawks.

Ben Knife spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Carter Lake was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Braylen Keener was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Tri-County North's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Mississinawa Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.
