The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Francis Scott Key in their matchups with Manchester Valley: they've now lost four in a row.
Manchester Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braylen Williams, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brendan Luddy, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
Francis Scott Key's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Manchester Valley, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-7.
Francis Scott Key will head out on the road to challenge South Carroll at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Manchester Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harford Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Manchester Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Wednesday.
