Beaumont had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 50 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 43-6 win over the Redlands East Valley Wildcats. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Cougars' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Wildcats are ranked 426th).

Beaumont's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Braedon Miller led the charge by picking up 149 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Miller was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 60 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Duhu, who threw for 120 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven passes.
