Baseball Recap: Harlingen Takes a Loss

Harlingen managed to slip by Veterans Memorial the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cardinals lost 7-0 to the Chargers on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Harlingen has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Veterans Memorial, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9-3.

Coincidentally, Harlingen and Veterans Memorial will both be playing Hanna the next time they take the field. The Chargers will head out to face the Golden Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Cardinals will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
