Basketball Game Preview: Potter-Dix Coyotes vs. Leyton Warriors

The Potter-Dix Coyotes and the Leyton Warriors will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Potter-Dix made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Paxton, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Coyotes fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 54-51 on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Coyotes' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Leyton). Everything went their way against South Platte on Friday as they made off with a 68-42 win.

The victory got Leyton back to even at 2-2. As for Potter-Dix, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Potter-Dix came up short against Leyton in their previous meeting back in January, falling 45-36. Can the Coyotes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
