Softball Recap: Wednesday's Defeat Ends Centerville's Winning Streak

Centerville dropped down to 6-3 on Wednesday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They lost 10-0 to the Hagerstown Tigers. The game marked the first time this season in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Centerville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Seifer, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

As for Hagerstown, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won nine contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

On Hagerstown's side, they got a massive performance out of Aaliya Anderson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Harper Fisher, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Coming up, Centerville will take on Beech Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.89 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hagerstown, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 7-1 win against Tri on the 30th.
