Basketball Game Preview: Independence Knights vs. Frisco Raccoons

Independence is on a three-game streak of home losses, Frisco a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Independence Knights will host the Frisco Raccoons at 7:15 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Friday, Independence ended up a good deal behind Liberty and lost 68-52. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 463rd, while the Redhawks are ranked 171st).

Meanwhile, Frisco lost to Heritage at home by a 70-55 margin on Friday.

Independence's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Frisco, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.
