Basketball Recap: Hastings Takes a Loss

Hastings lost against Harper Creek back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hastings Saxons fell 43-32 to the Harper Creek Beavers. The Saxons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hastings' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Harper Creek, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hastings and Springport will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harper Creek, they will be home for the holidays to greet Portage Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Portage Central will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Harper Creek surely won't give up without a fight.
