Baseball Recap: Bethel Christian Academy Gets the Win

Bethel Christian Academy won the last time they faced Southside Christian and things went their way on Friday too. Bethel Christian Academy walked away with a 6-3 win over Southside Christian. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

The team relied heavily on Brayden Cash, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Bethel Christian Academy is undefeated when Cash posts two or more runs, but 1-3 otherwise. Levi Gates also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Bethel Christian Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Southside Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bethel Christian Academy will face off against Scotland Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southside Christian, they will square off against South Wake at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
