Baseball Recap: Guy-Perkins Has No Trouble Against Sacred Heart

Guy-Perkins won the last time they faced Sacred Heart and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Thunderbirds were the clear victors by a 19-9 margin over the Rebels. Considering the Thunderbirds have won three games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Ethan Savoie, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. He has become a key player for Guy-Perkins: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3 otherwise. Cardan Foster was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.

Guy-Perkins always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .705. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Guy-Perkins now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Sacred Heart, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
