Blackman hasn't had much luck against Siegel recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Blaze will look to defend their home field against the Stars at 5:30 p.m. Blackman is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Blackman blew Rockvale out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Rockvale got their revenge. The Blaze fell just short of Rockvale by a score of 7-5. The Blaze just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Sophia Compton made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Khloe Kolb, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run.

Meanwhile, Siegel fell victim to Gordonsville and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 12-0. The Stars' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row.

Siegel's loss dropped their record down to 8-11-1. As for Blackman, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
