Basketball Recap: Mountain View Prep's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Mountain View Prep needed a changed in momentum after dropping nine straight games and they got it from Trinity Owens. The Mountain View Prep Stars skirted past the Greer Middle College Blazers 38-35 thanks in part to Owens, who went 5 for 10 en route to 13 points in addition to seven boards and six steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Celeste Wilder, who posted 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Mountain View Prep's points.

As for Greer Middle College, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 78-7 defeat against Chapman on the 28th.
