Basketball Recap: Foxcroft Academy Comes Up Short

Foxcroft Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 48-34 to the Mount Desert Island Trojans. The Ponies were probably out for revenge after losing 66-33 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Foxcroft Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Mount Desert Island, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

When Foxcroft Academy and Mount Desert Island next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Foxcroft Academy will try to stop Caribou's three-game winning streak when the meet at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Mount Desert Island will take on Old Town and their five-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
