Baseball Game Preview: Millis Mohawks vs. Dover-Sherborn Raiders

The Millis Mohawks will square off against the Dover-Sherborn Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

After dropping their season opener at home, Dover-Sherborn is headed out to face a Mohawks team ready to give their home crowd a win. Millis fell just short of Norton by a score of 3-1 on Monday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Nick Hohman put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.

Meanwhile, Dover-Sherborn earned a 6-2 victory over Bellingham on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Luke Napoli was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base.

Millis might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Dover-Sherborn in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can Millis avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
