Volleyball Recap: Overland Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Overland had taken George Washington down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. The Trailblazers fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 2-1. The Trailblazers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Overland sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 18-25, 15-10.

Overland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for George Washington, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Overland has already played their next game (against Poudre Community Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for George Washington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against ThunderRidge on the 6th.
