Basketball Recap: Lake Norman Charter Takes a Loss

Lake Norman Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 75-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 75-57 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Lake Norman Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Northwest Cabarrus, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

When Lake Norman Charter and Northwest Cabarrus next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Lake Norman Charter will try to stop York Prep's five-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Norman Charter is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Northwest Cabarrus will square off against Ashbrook and their four-game winning streak at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
