Baseball Recap: Baker County Comes Up Short

Baker County was the 7-0 winner over West Nassau when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Baker County fell 6-2 to West Nassau on Friday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Baker County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Springer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Baker County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for West Nassau, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baker County will challenge Union County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Baker County is facing Union County at the right time seeing as Union County is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for West Nassau, they will face off against Tocoi Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
