Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Brantley). They put the hurt on the Seminole Seminoles with a sharp 13-3 win on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Patriots sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Lucas Ostolaza tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Menfis Colon-Viera, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Zach Penn was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases.

Lake Brantley's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Seminole, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Brantley will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Seabreeze at 5:00 p.m. on March 24th. As for Seminole, they will face off against University at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
