Soccer Game Preview: Bryant vs. Jonesboro

The Bryant Hornets will challenge the Jonesboro Hurricane at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bryant will be strutting in after a win while Jonesboro will be coming in after a loss.

Bryant's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over North Little Rock. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Charging Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Jonesboro's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Central by a score of 1-0. Jonesboro fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Tigers since on Tuesday.

Bryant beat Jonesboro 2-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Does Bryant have another victory up their sleeve, or will Jonesboro turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
