After losing to Raymond Central the last time they met, Yutan decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Yutan Chieftains snuck past the Raymond Central Mustangs with a 36-30 victory on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Chieftains sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Yutan has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points per game. As for Raymond Central, they moved to 14-4 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
Yutan will head out to challenge Louisville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Raymond Central, they will be taking part in a tournament against Fort Calhoun at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
