Baseball Recap: Summersville Comes Up Short

Summersville lost to Alton back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats came up short against the Comets, falling 21-7. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Summersville's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Alton, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Summersville will challenge Lesterville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alton, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Liberty at 4:30 p.m.
