Soccer Recap: Kaplan Comes Up Short

Kaplan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy Eagles. While losing is never fun, Kaplan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy are ranked 40th).

Kaplan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-1. As for Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4-3.

Coming up, Kaplan will venture away from home to face off against Acadiana at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy, they will head out to take on David Thibodaux at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
