Meanwhile, there's no place like home for San Leandro, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Urban on Tuesday.
While San Leandro might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Urban scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 20-25, 25-20, 25-22.
American Canyon better focus on containing Eric Stowe and Avery Stone as the pair were huge in San Leandro's win. Stowe had 21 digs and one assist, while Stone had 19 kills, 13 digs, and three blocks.
San Leandro's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-9. As for American Canyon, their record now sits at 21-6.
