Preview: Crockett County vs. Haywood
Crockett County will take on Haywood in each of the teams' fourth playoff game on Friday. Averaging 65.33 points per contest, the Crockett County squad has been an offensive juggernaut in the playoffs, so hopefully Haywood's defense is prepared for a test.
Crockett County earned some more postseason success in their matchup last week. They claimed a resounding 70-35 win over Millington Central.
Meanwhile, Haywood got themselves on the board against Ripley, but Ripley never followed suit. Haywood steamrolled past Ripley 37 to nothing.
The Cavaliers ended up a good deal behind the Tomcats when they played the last time the two teams met in October, losing 45-30. Can the Cavaliers avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll soon find out.
