Softball Recap: Solon Comets vs. Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs
Solon's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They never let the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-2 back in April.
The result came thanks to Grace Gerhard's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Alyssa Gerome was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Claire Bush was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
Solon's victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
