Basketball Recap: KIPP College Prep Falls Short Against Ranked Paul Public Charter International

On Wednesday, KIPP College Prep faced Paul Public Charter International in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The KIPP College Prep Panthers took a 63-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paul Public Charter International Pirates. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

KIPP College Prep has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Paul Public Charter International, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

KIPP College Prep and DC International will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Mikah Prescott-Bell and Gavin Moore. As for Paul Public Charter International, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Archbishop Carroll on January 6, 2025.
