Baseball Recap: Rogue River Takes a Loss

Rogue River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 20-3 to the Lakeview Honkers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chieftains of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Rogue River saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaiden Richardson, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Rogue River's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Lakeview, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.

While Rogue River had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
