Volleyball Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short

If Lexington was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Stoneham on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Minutemen fell just short of the Concord-Carlisle Patriots by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Minutemen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Lexington now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Concord-Carlisle, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lexington will welcome Woburn Memorial at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Concord-Carlisle, they will square off against Newton South at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
